A quality security officer must be able to wear many hats. Vescom security guards are cross-trained in a number of capacities to insure that your company's first point of contact with employers, suppliers and customers is handled with professionalism and according to protocol.

While Vescom customizes each security services contract to our clients' specific needs, Vescom security guards typically provide several value-added services in addition to their general security guard duties.

All Vescom security personnel receive thorough training in security basics such as access control, loss prevention, emergency protocol, first aid, investigative reporting, and other specific security and safety issues specific to each clients' facility. In addition, many Vescom Service Contracts also include trained personnel to provide these value-added services:

EMTs / CFRs
Switchboard coverage
Shipping and receiving
Scalehouse operation
Criminal investigations

Other examples of specialized knowledge areas Vescom guards are trained in include EMT certification, First Responder certification, MSHA training, OSHA training, DEA and/or FDA guidelines, and Weighmaster certification.
